It eliminates the hassle of manual mixing and is crafted from high-quality acrylic, making it water-resistant and mould-resistant, perfect for use on glazed wall tiles as well as mosaic, limestone, glass, and ceramic tiles. Its vibrant Cream colour also provides a clean, refreshing look.
Additionally, its advanced mould-resistant acticide effectively repels water and humidity, offering sustained protection. Whether applied in a bathroom, kitchen, or wet room, this grout ensures a smooth and enduring finish.
Moreover, it's designed for quick and easy application, able to cover up to 15m² / 161ft² and set within 24 hours. This makes it especially user-friendly for those with no previous grouting experience, allowing for swift and efficient tiling.
Preparation
Preparing Surfaces for Hemway Premium Cream Ready-Mixed Grout
Before starting, make sure all tiling surfaces are dry, clean, and free from dust or grease. Additionally, if you are working with very porous surfaces, apply an acrylic primer and allow it to dry completely.
For timber or wood surfaces exposed to water contact, treat them with a water-resistant sealer. It is also essential to test the grout on a sample tile to avoid staining, particularly with satin, matte, or metallic finishes.
Application
How to Apply Hemway Premium Cream Ready-Mixed Adhesive Fix & Grout
- First, use a notched spreader to apply adhesive to a 0.5m²-1m² area.
- Next, bed the tiles firmly into the adhesive for full contact.
- Insert plastic spacers between the tiles to form grout lines.
- If necessary, support tiles during the initial drying period.
- Immediately remove excess adhesive from the tiles with a damp cloth.
Let the tiles set for 24 hours, or 48 hours for non-porous surfaces. Once the adhesive is set, use a damp cloth, sponge, or flat-edged spreader to apply grout into the lines. Remember to wipe away excess grout immediately for the best results.
After 15 minutes, smooth the grout lines with a rounded stick. Allow the grout to dry for 1 hour, then polish the tiles with a clean, dry cloth. For optimal results, avoid wetting the tiles for at least 24 hours to ensure proper curing.
All drying times are based on a temperature of 20°C (68°F). Be sure to adjust accordingly for cooler or warmer conditions.
